Activities Seminars April Show September Show

Nominated as the Best Dog Show 2005 & 2006 by Dogs In Review

The Sunflower Cluster of Dog Shows occurs on the first/second weekend of April.  This is considered one of the top 5 shows in the U.S.   Every year some 2,500 dogs arrive at the Kansas Coliseum to compete for the various titles that can be awarded at these shows.

These AKC shows are put on by the Wichita Kennel Club, Hutchinson Kennel Club, Salina Kennel Club and the Wichita Dog Training Club.    These shows are held indoors and are free to spectators.  The Sunflower Cluster offers a wide range of events that take place throughout the entire weekend.

The shows will be held April  3, 4, 5 & 6, 2008.

Note to EXHIBITORS

bulletMost Specialties are superintended by Onofrio.
bulletThere are designated exercise areas.  Please don't exercise your dogs in the areas marked as no exercise zones. 
bulletBathing stations available.  (Cold water)
bulletRV Parking:  First come first serve basis.  No reservations needed!!!  Plenty of  parking available.
bulletGrooming Space:  Free grooming on a first come first serve basis.  Plenty of space for early arrivals.    Reserved Grooming available through Onofrio.                Due by March  12, 2008.

bulletShow hours are from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday - Sunday
bulletJudging schedule & results are posted on Onofrio
bulletCatalogs of the show are for sale for $10 ($1 goes to the Junior Exhibitor Scholarship fund and $1 goes to the Art Show at the Dog Show fund) Bring your Purina Weight Circle and get a $1 off the catalog price!
bulletNon-entered dogs are not allowed.  Please leave your dog at home.
bulletPlease don't leave children unattended.
bulletWe recommend that you not use strollers.
bulletPlease don't touch dogs unless given permission. 
bulletMany vendors carry a wide range of doggy related things.
bullet3 buildings and 1 field full of activities.

Note to Non-Profit Organizations

bulletDue to space limitations, we do not provide free areas for non-profit organizations.
bulletYou are welcome to participate during our weekend provided you have permission by the Cluster Committee and that you pay for a booth space.
